14 years deploying new technology in complex organisations taught us two things:
- AI would fundamentally reshape how companies operate.
- Most organisations were not ready for it.
Neon & Slate was built to close that gap.
Charlotte has worked on AI since 2009. Clément since 2012. Between us: AI systems for BNP Paribas, an AI-enabled fashion tech company, a SaaS platform automating legal workflows. We were building before boards knew what to budget for.
Today, AI is commoditized. The hard part is making it stick. Operationalizing it — and turning it into real ROI.

Co-Founder & CEO
Charlotte Hausemer
Charlotte Hausemer is a French-American engineer, investor, and Co-Founder of Neon & Slate, where she helps middle-market firms turn AI into measurable business value.
She specializes in cross-functional, international transformation projects — delivering high-ROI AI initiatives inside real operating environments. Her focus is not on greenfield experiments, but on making AI work within the constraints of legacy systems, existing teams, and day-to-day operations.
Charlotte is also an active investor and board advisor. She believes the future belongs to builder-leaders: non-technical executives who use AI to rethink how their businesses operate, grow, and create value.
Outside of work, she supports women's communities and mission-driven organizations. She is a member of the American Friends of the Louvre.
She believes AI is an ownership decision first, and a technology decision second.

Clément Perrot
Clément is the engineer who makes strategy real. AWS Generative AI architect. Inc. 30 Under 30. Founder of Zenlaw and Prynt — both acquired. Advisor to 50+ companies across Europe and North America.
He has built production AI systems at scale and led technical teams across Paris and New York. He recruits forward-deployed engineers from Polytechnique, UC Berkeley, and Wharton — people trained to operate at the boundary of technical rigor and business judgment.
